Green Smoothies

With all these hot days that we are going to have this week (90 or higher) I am going to incorporate more green smoothies. I bought romaine, spinach, kale and some parsley to go into them. I also bought more strawberries, bananas and peaches. I have perfected the way I make green smoothies with my average blender so I don’t get chunks of unprocessed greens. I add milk and greens and blend, blend, blend and then the rest of the ingredients, blend some more and it works out great.

I made homemade wheat/gluten free pizza for dinner. Pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives and mushrooms and cheese. I am not quite ready to give up the cheese on my pizza so I used as little as I felt I could get away with and it came out great. The whole family loved it.

It’s been such a long hot day that I’m just going to move onto food and nutrition now.
