It was a long day yesterday

I went to work and ended up working 3.5 hours beyond my usual shift because an employee was sick. It made for a very long day. You see at my job, I am on my feet the whole time I am there and that includes lunch breaks usually. And speaking of lunch, I do believe on days that I am working I need to have my calorie intake a bit higher. I was starving by the time I returned home and if I wasn’t so proud of my progress I would have eaten everything in the house.

I drank my appetite control shake which I have revised from Sie’s blog to this:

Hemp Protein plus Fiber, Organic, Nutiva 30g
Udo’s Oil 3-6-9 Blend 5g
Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened 200g
Almond Milk, Unsweetened, Blue Diamond 1.5 Serving

I found that I was not tasting the vanilla extract and I can go without the stevia. I also took out the water and replaced it with more almond milk. Here’s the nutrition:

I am getting ready for another day at work so I’ll give you a quick rundown of the nutrition for yesterday. I am still lacking in calcium and potassium. I will be picking up a calcium supplement today or tomorrow and I’ll have to figure out how to get more potassium as well. Oh and tonight I’ll tell you about the bean dip my fiance Derrick made, it was delicious!

Hi Julie! I always have a hard time with potassium. It's the one nutrient, along with calcium sometimes, that I struggle with. Well, you're doing awesome. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to blogland:) BTW, we're the same age! But you have twice as many babies as me:P
